The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has streamlined and simplified the assessment of rateable value (RV) and property tax of commercial and other non-residential premises into a four-slab system, providing welcome relief to litigating landlords and property owners in the city.

Zone-IV Jogeshwari to Dahisar and Kurla to Mulund (Covered by K/E (Part), (K.W (Part), P/s, P/N, R/S, R/C, R/N, L, M/E, M/W, N, S & T Wards. Rateable value to be fixed to yield Rs 4/- per sq. ft. per month in tax, or*
